This Privacy Policy explains what information TicTacToe Squared collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the game you agree to the practices described below.

1. Who we are

TicTacToe Squared (“the game”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is operated by JDL Solutions for Design & Programing W.L.L. This policy applies to the mobile game on iOS and Android and to related websites (including tictactoesquared.com and our player API).

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account & profile data: a display name, avatar, and (if you create an account) an email address verified with a one-time code. Guest play uses a server-side guest profile until you sign up.
  • Gameplay data: match history, results, streaks, achievements, coins, cosmetics you own, and in-app purchases.
  • Device & technical data: device model, operating system, language, app version, push token (if you allow notifications), and a randomly generated installation identifier.
  • Advertising data: if ads are enabled, our ad partner (Google AdMob) may collect advertising identifiers. On iOS we ask for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency) before personalized ads. You can still play if you decline.
  • Purchase data: store product identifiers and entitlement status via RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment card details.
  • Support data: the name, email, and message you send through the support form or email.

3. How we use your information

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the game and websites;
  • Sync guest progress, coins, cosmetics, and achievements;
  • Process in-app purchases and prevent fraud and abuse;
  • Show ads (unless you have Remove Ads) and measure them;
  • Send optional push notices you opt into;
  • Provide customer support and respond to your requests;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Legal bases for processing

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal data on the basis of performance of a contract (to provide the game), our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service), your consent (for example for optional tracking or marketing), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf (hosting, email delivery, crash/performance, ads, and purchase processing, including Google AdMob and RevenueCat);
  • Platform providers such as Apple and Google for app distribution and purchases;
  • Authorities, when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.

6. Data retention and account deletion

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter only as required for legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. You can delete your account in-app (Profile). Deletion removes your cloud profile, stats, coins, cosmetics, and related records. App Store and Play purchases stay with your store account and can be restored later.

7. Children’s privacy

TicTacToe Squared is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, use in-app account deletion, contact us at [email protected], or use our support page.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
